You might be on to something with the legislation thing. Why do we have to take tests before we get a job, a drivers license, a college degree... but anyone and everyone can create children. I'm for mandatory legislation regarding who can breed and who can't. There are way too many unwanted children and 'parents' who are ill prepared to raise them. I'm pissed that I have to jump through hoops to get sterilization (i don't want to pass on my genes/illnesses and even if i stay away from sex, there's still the chance of rape.. not a chance i want to take) but i could get knocked up and go get an abortion at the drop of the hat... why? because dr's don't want to sterilize women in light of "you'll change your mind"

So while you might be a closed-minded radical, you have found a portion where I'll agree with you.

As to your question, I don't think I would, I'm not interested in eradicating humanity or any other species.

it would be both... right now I'm looking for researchers to find ways to eliminate the orgasm so we can wean ppl off sex..

and I never said we would stop having kids.. we still need that... so it would just require legislation to have artificial insemination as the only legal means of reproduction.

call me "closed minded" all you like.. but I'm only this way because women wouldnt lower their standards for me.. I mean.. having yourself repressed by the opposite (and hostile) gender is no fun.. and Ive been an "incel" (involuntary celibate) ever since I hit puberty (which I regard as the biggest mistake I ever made) and it doesnt end there.... ppl give me dirty looks when I say I never dated (and I"m 30 as of last month). and when you're a dateless virginal wonder at my age.. your prospects are almost nothing. so dont tell me I can have a mate.. because I cant... women threw me away when I was just 14, and they never invited me back to the species. And since I cant have kids anyway.. the whole point of sex has been negated and compromised in my case.. so I'm useless as a lover.

Re: [Haven for the Human Amoeba] Anti-Sex League?

I have no place to designate who can and who cannot have a mate. I have been saddled with the ability to have children, yet I refuse. Sex is useless to me as well, added to the fact that i'm fucked up in the head.. i'm a pretty lousy lover myself. *shrug* Maybe your choices leave you without a human mate, but I've found animals that treat me better than any human ever can. I *have* a human counterpart, but i'd take the animals over him any day :/

That seems rather expensive and unnecessary...why resort to artificial means when the natural way is both simple and more pleasant? If you were trying to reduce overpopulation, then I'd vote for encouraging more people to be sterilized, but aside from that, I don't see why you insist on putting your opinion on everybody, regardless of whether they agree with you or not. I don't know if you realize it, but that kind of intolerance is a hallmark of fascists.

No offense, but you really sound like you need some serious therapy. Yr description of what an anti-sexual is simply is not true. I may be an anti-sexual, but not for the reasons or the way you mentioned. The fact that you "are raging mad", as you put it, clearly shows that you have issues that should be worked out in therapy. As far as the legislation idea, don't you think yr going a bit too far? Me personally, I would have no problem being w/ or dating a 30 yr old virgin. Perhaps some of yr strong attitudes turns the women off. It sure has shown that to be true on this forum. I hope not to insult you and would like to hope that you can find peace w/ in yourself.

Nah, the problem is that you're out to hate, hurt and oppress others, to force your will upon them. That's just plain wrong. Just because you got all the bad cards does not give you the right to hate and oppress everyone around you. If it did, then other unhappy people would have the right to hurt you, and I don't believe that you think they do have the right to hurt you. So don't go hurting others when you don't believe they have the right to oppress you.

seems you have no idea how disenfranchised and disempowered I am... women have all the cards in the sick game called dating (which I should say has NO PROVISION for self-correction at all). Plus with the Feminist movement.. I cant ask anyone out without putting myself at risk for a lawsuit or worse.

I"m only this way because I"ve spent my whole life being rejected.. and having my "male-ness" held against me by women.. Couple that with a mother who taught me that women cant be trusted and 3 girls who called me gay for turning one of them down (and getting me beaten as well). and well... how CAN you like being one of the "Filthy gender"?

I don't know how you stand it, but it's really your own problem, not ours. If you want to do something about your feelings, get counseling. If not, leave us alone because we're not your mother or your sisters. Your problem seems to be that you illogically generalized from a small sample to the whole world.

Thanks Glenn for putting it so well. He has some serious issues and w/ him being a woman-hater, I didn't think he'd listen to anything I had to say anyways. I've seen plenty of un-attractive men whose positive personalities made them apear very gorgeous and I've seen very attractive men whose negative personalities made them appear as ugly. It's sad that he just dosen't understand that.

I'm not sure he's necessarily a woman-hater.. he's just lost all faith in the human race as a whole. He may not be the most pleasing sight to the eye, but his personality doesn't add anything to it. I'm pretty fucking bitter about the world, but I try to shield some of that bitterness and anger for the face of being somewhat sociable. You get what you put forth. -s

Same thing, except for me with women. I remember one classmate in high-school who was drop-dead gorgeous, physically. But she was such a total b*tch that everyone hated her. And I've known women who weren't much to look at but they were great to be around.

No. Need therapy for your overtly hostile personality. I've seen ugly people get laid. I've seen ugly people in committed relationships. Their personalities make up for it. This does not appear to be the case with you.

Not a woman hater? You may want to re-read his posts. I have more than every reason in the book to be bitter and angry at the whole darn world and to a whole lot of people. I CHOOSE not not. I will not give my personal power over to it nor allow myself to be its victim. I'm stronger than that. You are right Sarae when you say "you get what you put forth." Very good point and lesson in life.

thing is.. I have nothing TO "put forth"... at least nothing that has any real "market value".. where my "love" for women resided.. theres nothing but a void now.. and I lament over that every day.. over the love that I used to have in such abundant quanity, but no women ever wanted.

Don't you have a life? There's more in the world than just women. I don't love anyone deeply, but that doesn't mean I lack friends, family, and things to do that make me happy. I have hobbies, I read my e-mail, browse in newsgroups, tinker with my computer...there is so much to do, there's no time to be bitter about what isn't there. Why don't you try to find something to do with your time instead of dwelling on the negative? Let go of the past, it's past and our task is to not repeat others' mistakes. That's the most useful tip I learned from a year of counseling...

It will seem like I'm off topic, but actually you people have gone into some more detailed topics, I would like to make a comment on the major topic of this thread.

I would just like to say that beyond many reactivisms, there's envy. You know that "who despies, wants to buy" maxim?

Many people who are poor in a certain thing (may it be money, health or even sexual life) pretend they don't need this thing in order to keep themselves in a worthy position - who wants to be "the poor", "the deviant", "the pitiful"? No one. To lie to keep oneself worthy is understandable - BUT, such people /tend/ to become reactive towards people who are rich on these things they suposedly aren't devoid of.

If you are happy with what you have, you let go.

Newbie popping in to say hello

Hello everyone! I'm a newbie here, and have recently discovered that there was a word for asexuality....from my sociology textbook *laugh*. Well, it certainly was relieving to find that not only was there a word to describe people like me, but that I was also not the only one in the world. :) I'm really glad to have found this group! I've been asexual my whole life, much to the bewilderment of most of my friends. Some of them think that I'm just a repressed lesbian (which I'm definitly not) , while others admire it, and compare me to famous religious women in Islam. ^^;; (I am a Muslim by the way). Well, have to wrap this up now, but I'd like to add that I'd love to hear from anyone else about their experiences or just to simply talk. It'd be nice to finally meet someone who's like me. :) So if you like, please feel free to drop me an email. (f_ah84@...) <--please remove the "no spam" bit

Bye~

It's called "sour grapes" and there's an Aesop's fable about it.

anti-sex league

Sorry it took me so long to approve messages posted by newbies. Anyway, apparently MasterEiji does not remember the *last* time he joined this group. It was the same situation, only he seems a bit more angry and confused this time around. C'mon Eiji...I didn't forget about you *that* easily, even though it's been years now. In fact, I *still* have a saved copy of our last conversation on my hard drive. We've had words before and I have let it slide because I did not want a repeat of last time. Frankly I have tuned out most of this thread so it doesn't bother me, but I can't say the same for other people. Anyway, let's not let this "debate" get out of hand.
